I have a little experience on Ubuntu recently. Linphone 5.1 installed via
apt didn't work, I could receive but not make calls. It seemed to be
missing something. After uninstalling every trace of 5.1 I downloaded the
latest Appimage from Linphone, version 6 and it works great with my SIP
provider. No Diamondcard. Not home so I don't have exact details, not
really your situation but thought I'd throw it out there.
