Linphone 6.1.0 is the result of very intensive R&D. With version 6, we completely redeveloped the user interface. In version 6.1, we reintroduced all the instant messaging and conferencing features that were present in Linphone 5 but had been temporarily skipped in 6.0 due to time constraints. That said, some issues may arise from this deep rewrite. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. I can confirm the bug you reported regarding contact editing. I was able to reproduce it easily on my Mac version, so it appears it slipped through our extensive testing. I’ve already raised the issue with our app development team, and we will fix it. Feedback like yours is extremely valuable, so please don’t hesitate to share any issues you encounter with Linphone 6.0 or 6.1 on this mailing list. Thank you again for your support!
