We have installed z/VM on our S/390 box and are ploughing through the
"Building Linux Systems under IBM VM" by Simon Williams (..a quality guide).
However when we attempt to format our mini-disks using yast we get a "MOUNT
ERROR - error mounting the filesystem of partition /dev/dasdb1 to the
directory /mnt . wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/dasdb1 or
too many mounted file systems in yast. The LINUX guest on VM reports - "VFS:
Can't find an ext2 filesystem on dev dasd(94,9)" and "Unable to find
swap-space signature".

= Mini-disk specifications have been exactly as book
= We have re-formatted the dasd and tried again but get same message.
= We have also spotted that swap space goes 100% but have added additional
and re-run again with same messages.

Has anyone come across this before ?
