Hi Mark,

I can't tell you how many people have emailed me in the past few hours
asking that same question, so I'll reply here on the list.

I've been consulting with the IRS since last Spring on VM and Linux/390
related issues. As you may imagine, security is extremely tight here, so
tight in fact that it's difficult for me to get through their firewall to my
own mailservers (which is why you rarely see me on the list these days!).

MC Consulting Company, Inc. is still alive and well and living in
Massachusetts. :)

I will probably be posting more often using my IRS email address since we
are very active with Linux/390 work at the moment and I can no longer wait
until I get around their firewall to post and read messages on the list.

Thanks to all who have inquired and expressed concern - it's good to hear
from all of you!

Michael,

You should be able to use a CMS reserved minidisk. That's what the original
Marist file system installed called for.

Does your new email address mean that you're no longer running your own
company? Or is it simply a convenience while you work on a contract for the
IRS?

Mark
