You want a single disk with all the rpm packages that can be booted as well, right? Must it be a CMS reserved mini disk for shipping? If not, then I think it would be an interesting experiment to see if you can make the disk in OS format with two partitions. A first small partition can be mounted over /boot in another system to write the kernel and ramdisk with zipl. The other large partition would have the rpm packages that you need, and you would be able to use the 'install from hard disk' scheme in RedHat. > Reason: the ZIPL will not be available until I do this ????
