Were you using a Microsoft-based server to hold the SuSE CDs? That won't
work. It has to be a UNIX or Linux server.

Subject: SUSE Install failure

Using YAST, I get:

-----------No Kernel Found---------
No installable kernals were found. Please
check the directory of the installation medium.

I then get:
The command
      chroot /mnt/sbin/silo -d /dev/dasda -t2
       resulted in an error
The command gave the following output:
chroot: cannot execute /sbin/silo: no such file or directory.

The second set was probably caused by the first. What caused the first set?
