Check /etc/rc.config. You'll be looking for NETDEV_0 (or NETDEV_1, etc.). Also check for IFCONFIG_0 to make sure those values are compatible with a CTC connection. IPADDR_0 will have your IP address.

However, Yast never asks for the network device. I sucessfully IPL from the hard disk (a VM minidisk) but eth0 is asked for. I need to use ctc0. Is it OK to insert the necessary info in files, if so which ones?
