Check /etc/rc.config.  You'll be looking for NETDEV_0 (or NETDEV_1, etc.).
Also check for IFCONFIG_0 to make sure those values are compatible with a
CTC connection.  IPADDR_0 will have your IP address.

I'm installing SUSE with YAST using the VM reader. I selected the minimal
system and sucessfully install the related packages. Subsequently questions
about the net config are answered, the install appears to be sucessful.
However, Yast never asks for the network device.

I sucessfully IPL from the hard disk (a VM minidisk) but eth0 is asked for.
I need to use ctc0. Is it OK to insert the necessary info in files, if so
which ones?
