Installation on a MP3000

Anybody installed SUSE from the downloaded SUSe site to a MP3000 in LPAR
mode ???
I am having problems trying to get the cd-rom available to yast in the
install, it is a Adaptec AIC7870 SCSI CD-ROM device.....
