UML CPU loaded is close to 100% efficient. > Disk I/O is almost certainly slower; that's probably > processor-dependent. Partly. Try executing 100,000 basic syscalls (eg getppid()) and the whole thing starts to look quite ugly - thats where the overhead kicks in
