The only problem in scoring points against Windows products
is that there's so little challenge. It's sometimes WAAYYY
too easy.
I remember when the source for lots of this stuff was available
on the platforms; I think Amdahl's first PCM (Plug-Compatible-
Mainframe) kinda panicked the PTB. And Bill is still pissed off
from those folks in the mid 1970's who stole a paper-tape copy
of his BASIC for the intel 8080 that he's not gonna let anyone
get a free ride EVER AGAIN. Of course, having been spread that
way, it probably sold more copies later on and helped him get
started by establishing his name.

The details of _my_ registry are quite inconsequential.
...
Very well, where shall I begin...
My software vendor was a relentlessly self-promoting egotist
is a BASIC interpreter and a penchant for monopolies. He would
swagger, eat from vending machines and make outrageous claims-
Like _he_ had invented the Graphical User Interface. At times
we would accuse OS|2 of riding on his coat-tails - The kind of
general mailaise that marketers have and techies lament.
My hardware vendor was a Taiwanese Clone maker who's products
made Packard-Bell's look good.
My days were typical- Boot-ups in the morning, Blue Screens by
noon, in the afternoon a mad scramble for services packs. In
the evenings we would download MP3s via Napster.
When I was insolent I was forced to log into AOL and read only
the messages there - Quite standard, really.
When I reached the age of reason a Finnish grad student
ritualistically introduced me to an operating system now closely
associated with Penguins.
You know, there really _is_ nothing like a system shorn of Windows.
It's quite breathtaking, I quite recommend it.

And, in the same voice:
"You are the MS-DOS of Evil: Only 640K, not evil enough!"
