Chris, ishell is not an editor, it's a directory tree navigator and tool launcher. If you invoke an editor, you get the ISPF editor. I've never looked at it myself, but you might find that Midnight Commander is a similar tool, for typical Linux/UNIX type terminals (non-3270).
