Hello, We have a MVS and a Linux on a Multiprise 3000. Linux can be reached from MVS by a ESCON CTC link. The TCP/IP configuration is a static route from MVS to Linux by CTC.
With this configuration, Linux can be reached by telnet only from MVS. We can't ping Linux from another adress on the network even if the host route is specified on telnet client.
