Hello all, Last week I posted about difficulties that I was experiencing when attempting to declare multiple iucv devices. I was and am attempting to have two or more seperate iucv connections that are both routed using arp proxy through the VM stack. After following everyone's advice on the correct syntax for I have one device that works and one device that comes up but never connects to the VM side. Both devices are trying to connect through the same gateway. This means that my iucv entry in my parmfile is 'iucv=TCPIP:TCPIP' with a similar entry in modules.conf, 'options netiucv iucv=TCPIP:TCPIP'. After bringing up the second device, I get this message in my dmesg 'iucv_register_program: Someone already registered with same pgmname, userid, pgm mask'.
I've had multiple working iucv connections before, just never going through the same arp proxy gateway. Am I correct in assuming that this single gateway is my problem and that defining a new proxy arp gateway will solve it? Michael Lambert
