Hello, We've recently began to attempt to bring SuSE up on our test environment. We were unsuccessful, and seem to have residual hanging around in our OSA/SF cards. We took one of the OSA interfaces CHPid offline to our other two test S/390 systems to dedicate it for the SuSE use only.
Now we are trying to move it back. We've taken the CHPid off the SuSE, and varied it back online to the two test MVS boxes, and we are receiving errors. Looking at the OSA/SF GUI I see Coatdresses showing still STARTED to the SuSE machine. How do I shut these off? Can they be shut off. The problem I'm having is at the activation of the TRLE for the appropriate LPAR I'm receiving messages indicating I'm using a invalid PORTNAME. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
