I'm a bit late in answering, but I had the same problem (it took me NINE days and 4 restarts to download the entire RH 7.2 distro!!! - and that's using a high speed cable modem!). I used a product called WS_FTP and each time a download would fail I would have it restart the ENTIRE download. It is smart enough to say "you already have that exact file" and move on to the next, so I didn't have to constantly figure out which files I had retrieved and which ones I had not.
Does anybody have a "step by step" installation guide for Installing RH 7.2 using this ftp download? I still have to get the IBM OCO objects before I can use this, right? I can get the ftp to run but it runs sooo long (2.5 days). I have the files on /dev/dasda1 but I need to restart rhsetup to the point AFTER the ftp install and get prompted for the pertinent information following. I do not want to have to go thru the agonizing ftp process. Regards, j-me
