Loren Charnley posted his sample profile.exec and it included the line

set relpage off /*Avoids a Linux problem *

I have seen this in a couple of other places.

i.e.http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/zseries/os/linux/pdf/l390gp3.pdf
(page 46)

I have done a few searches, and cannot seem to find out what this
Mysterious "Linux Problem" is, and if I should worry about it (I am running
SuSE with the 2.4.7 kernel) under VM 2.4

The VM Manuals state under SET RELPAGE OFF:

 OFF
prevents the release of unused page frames of storage as described in
SET
RELPAGE ON. Use the SET RELPAGE OFF function when debugging or
analyzing
a problem so that the storage used is not released and can be
examined.
Be aware that indiscriminate use of SET RELPAGE OFF can have a
negative
     impact on overall system performance.

Just trying to understand...

Thanks in advance.
