I think suse forgot to include in sles7 the mysql utilities (mysql client, mysqladmin... etc). I just opened the mysqclnt rpm locally (mysqclnt-3.22.32-141), and put the neccessary binaries in place. Just get that rpm from somewhere (you can d/l it from suse I think - it's in one of the iso's probably), and run rpm2cpio mysqclnt-3.22.32-141.s390.rpm | cpio -divu This will open the rpm as if it was a tar.gz file.
