I ported the Blackdown JDK to Linux/390 so I may be able to help. What
problems are you seeing? I'm going to bet it will be glibc related. The
Marist distribution was a grand gift to the Linux community in the early
days but it's now suffering from terminal unusability. If at all possible
get the SuSE beta which will probably make your Apache even happier.
