Paul,

As of March 5th, 2002, the code for the LCS driver has been Open Sourced by
IBM. (The code for qeth, qdio, and HiperSockets has not.) So at some
point, we can expect to see them included in the ramdisk by Red Hat, if they
have not done so already.

Dave,

>From the Red Hat release notes:
The LCS and QETH/QDIO drivers are not supported by Red Hat as they
are proprietary OCO drivers that cannot be included as a part of
our
standard Red Hat Linux distribution. Contact IBM for modules
compiled
for use with Red Hat Linux for S/390.

See "Adding OCO modules to the installation program" for a
description
on how to add these modules.

They also have a section on how to install the IBM OCO modules.
