This is independent of SAF (and yes it will be disabled here shortly).

I looked in the archives but haven't found the magic search argument.

Lionel, I'm afraid you really have to give up playing with the
training wheels (SAF) if you want us to understand what you're
talking about.
If you mean that you added a mini disk in the CP directory entry
of the userid, and now you want Linux to use it, then that is
something we have explained lots of times. They way to do this
depends on whether you still have a Linux 2.2 kernel or don't
mind to reboot your Linux.
