Hi Wolfe, 1. put CD in nfs machine and do: mount /dev/hdc -t iso9660 /mnt/cdrom
2. edit /etc/exports file (man exports) 3. /etc/rc.d/init.d/portmap start 4. /etc/rc.d/init.d/nfs start 5. go to your machine on which you want to 'see' your CD 6. /etc/rc.d/init.d/portmap start 7. mount nfs.machine:/mnt -t nfs /dir/what/you/want 8. ls /dir/what/you/want/cdrom Regards, Julia "Wolfe, Gordon W" wrote: > How are the CD's mounted on the other system on the LAN?
