It's been around a while now.

It's not without its problems in the PC world. Reportedly if one does multiple 
installs to the same system the installer labels everything uniquely. However, 
duplicate a drive (dd) or add a drive from another system, and very likely you get the 
wrong filesystem(s) mounted.
