How to pre-allocate a 4GB File in a system with several 2.3 GB dasds? We're looking for a way to be able to create a single file slightly larger than 4Gbytes (to test some logic in the code which has been known to break on ports where seek offsets go over 32-bits).
Or is the largest file we can ever make around 2.3Gbytes ? Thanks, Samy Rengasamy.
