Excuse Me, To the 1600 or so people subscribed to this list I wish a good evening.
As a partial clarification and addition to an earlier post made by Jay Maynard. "Phil Roberts does not speak or act for the Hercules team. Phil's posting privileges were set to require moderator approval before sending to the entire list due to his consinual, disruptive posting on his favorite topic long after the members of the list had lost interest. He had more than a full and complete opportunity to state his views; indeed, it was that that led to his being moderated." I am not a member of the Hercules team, nor am I a spokesperson for them. Sometimes I can barely speak for myself, speechless you might say. I doubt they would desire to have someone of this nature attempting to represent them in a forum, they have plenty of experience themselves. The next paragraph, I believe, refers to Phil Payne's posting privileges. I am not limited, to my knowledge, as to my ability to post in a forum, I can flub it with the best of them. >From a post by Phil Payne on 15 APR 2002, 19:04: "Phil Roberts trying to get me banned... He doesn't appear to realise that the original was not only written by one of his Hercules cronies, but it's still in the Hercules archives. Physician heal thyself." A post in Hercules-advocacy forum by me on 15 Apr 2002 at 08:35, 10 hours before your remark above in this list indicates I did know who wrote the original text. Your post in the same forum that evening indicates you were aware I knew, the one which you lead off with "More like someone making a complete ........ of themselves." Besides your post on the UGA listserv forum was in direct response to a post I made there where you replied to a remark about my mother. Therefore I can only surmise that the comment above is an intentional attempt to discredit me publicly before yet another group of people. You are surely aware of the invasion of privacy suit which is being prepared against UGA and the list moderator there. It is mentioned in the post that you have responded to in the Hercules-advocacy forum. It is not out of the question to have them pursue this libel against me as well. Other members of the list, please forgive the intrusion, hopefully I will have something to contribute which is on topic in the future. I don't believe there would be anymore benefit to pursue this particular dialog in your forum. Phil Roberts
