Why wouldn't you use http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/bastille-linux/Bastille- 1.3.0-1.0.src.rpm to build from? Using tarballs and such as you have is something one does as a last resort. I downloaded it just for the hell of it and it builds just fine on my desktop (in under ten seconds too!).
