Assuming my memory works at all, I think this is a feature
of atoi() but I'd want to play with it first.
And, yes, there are two kinds of Unix SysAdmins:
1) Those who have already made this mistake; and
2) Those who WILL make this mistake.
(The same is true of doing an 'rm -rf *' as root from /)
