There is no real need to port since Tomcat is written in Java.
What do you need :
- Apache : comes with probably all distributions
- A Java JDK : download one from ibm.com, they have a free JDK for
Linux/390.
- a plugin for the link between apache en tomcat, you don't really need it
because Tomcat also has a http server, but it isn't as tested and
debugged and optimized as apache.
This plugin you will have compile yourself.
All except the Java JDK is on httpd.apache.org and jakarta.apache.org
