Hello,

because you mentioned it: something I miss most on my linux desktop is a
program similar to FILEL or FLIST, which shows me the files of the current
directory, so that I can sort them different ways and call linux shell
commands on them. It should work with the keyboard, not with the mouse (or
not only - I can't work as fast with the "explorer" sort of things). Is there
anything of that kind out there ?

Maybe I could write such a thing using THE macros with REGINA, but maybe
someone else has done it already ?

And is there such a program also for OS/2 command line windows ? There was
such a thing for DOS, but not for OS/2. It works in the OS/2 DOS
emulation, but you don't have long filenames and so on and you cannot call
OS/2 programs from there.

Regards

Bernd
