Donna,

If you're using CTC or IUCV devices on a 2.4 system, you can control that by
echoing a value into /proc/net/ctc/ctc0/buffersize or
/proc/net/iucv/iucv0/buffersize, respectively.

Other than that, I'm not really aware of any generally modifiable parameter
to control this, other than modifying the source code for the network driver
you're using (if source code is available).

Subject: SLE - Maximum Network I/O Buffer Size

I am looking for a parameter that I can set on my Linux system for the
Maximum Network I/O Buffer Size (a parameter that controls the size of the
buffer used to receive blocks of data from the network). I have looked at
the TCPIP definitions and Tomcat definitions and have not been able to find
one. I was wondering if anyone knows where or if it is possible to set it?

Thanks,
