Neil, The Marist file system is based on Red Hat, so look in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts. The specific file name will be ifcfg-devicename. So if you're using a CTC, it will be ifcfg-ctc0. If you're using IUCV, it will be ifcfg-iucv0, etc.

What is the name of the file (and where is it) that contains the IP address and mask for the Linux system ? We are using the Marist version. We have restored our linux system to another virtual machine and now want to change the ip address associated with the new restored system. Thanks..in advance...Neil
