I'm trying to figure out how to programmatically determine (from a shell script) if any CMS formatted and reserved minidisks are attached to a Linux/390 system. When the DASD driver gets loaded, it populates /proc/dasd/devices. I've been looking through the various entries in /proc and the Redbooks, but I've been unable to find anything that corresponds to minidisk support. Even after I get the devices defined, formatted and mounted, I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Anyone have any help to offer here?
