I mainly care about Linux images running on z/VM.
The most significant thing that I can think of is that is
must not consume resources when there is no productive work
going on otherwise in the Linux image.
Linux' view of CPU usage is probably incorrect when it runs on
z/VM, so I will use z/VM's reporting instead. However, when a
Linux image is using a lot of resources it makes sense to see
what process is doing that. Same for I/O I guess.

Guess most of what we need is in SNMP, no?
