I would also suggest that you have the CE power the Shark off and then
on again before you bring up the mainframe again.

I have found that shutting down all processes on the mainframe while IBM
updates the microcode is the smart choice, less chance of a problem.  I
also
require that the CE stays on site while I bring all of the systems back
up.
