Dave, yes, SuSe comes with LVM, which has been working well to create larger
disks.  We chose SuSe, because it was better certified for Oracle.  Oracle
is supposed to GA 9i for S/390 this august, we will see...  Kevin

...so are you using LVM to combine those 2.2 db vols?
i'm on RH7.2 which doesn't have LVM...so I guess I'll use RAID instead...
