Thats not what Raid is for. You can 'bundle' together a set of devices once into
a set of Redundant Array of Inexpensive Devices (what the name alrady says) and,
  if you either use Raid-1 or Raid-5 have the ability to hotremove and/or hotadd
devices if one of them fails, but you can't to my knowledge increase the size of
a software Raid without repartitioning and reformating.

What you are asking is a Logical Volume Management (LVM), which is not available
in the Red Hat kernel.
