Rob, Better yet, use the "contig" option on the allocation. If it can't get the contiguous space, the allocation fails.

I remember that I decided not to code that since you're going to allocate them all on new volumes anyway and you can make it fit and use ,,relse to chop off excess tracks. But since we already made it ignore unused tracks, I suppose I could at least notice the multiple extents and load a disabled PSW for you. Rob
