Oops...

I just had this problem printing to my Linux-attached printer from Win-XP...

Turns out /var/spool/samba has nothing to do with it.  The fix was to add
"use client driver = yes" to the "[printers]" section of smb.conf and
restart Samba.

A search of Google found this for me.  It has something to do with being an
Administrator (or Local Administrator) on the Windows machine.
