We are running the Suse 7.0 GA version and the R26(G5) should have IEEE fpu support.If 
this is nothing to do with VM-VM/not then there should be no this kind of problem in 
our environment.thanks.

Hmm. According to the IBMlink sales manual,a R26 should be a G5, so this
should work. Check your microcode levels to ensure that you have IEEE FP
support. It also sounds like you have a very old Linux distribution; most of
the modern distributions have fixed most of these messages.

Shouldn't make any difference. It's a hardware problem, not a VM/not-VM
problem. In any case, it's the same Linux code either way, so you'll still
get the same messages.

No. The R44 is a G3. This will make it worse.
