David, Thanks for your reply. We are running the Suse 7.0 GA version and the R26(G5) should have IEEE fpu support.If this is nothing to do with VM-VM/not then there should be no this kind of problem in our environment.thanks.

Check your microcode levels to ensure that you have IEEE FP support. It also sounds like you have a very old Linux distribution; most of the modern distributions have fixed most of these messages. > 2.
