Dave, That was the error msg that prompted us to correct the path statement:
"I received some compilation errors during the install due to /usr/local/bin missing the $PATH. Once I added it in .profile, the problems were corrected." Also, please look at the Oracle tech forum on this, there is a bunch of suggestions, but the fix varies. The path update worked for us.
