Tom,

Actually the fact that you're getting that message means you are _not_
subscribed properly.  I only get that message when I send a post from my
home email address, which is not subscribed.  I just looked, and your email
address does not show up in the list of subscribers.

Aside from that, I suspect you're not getting answers because the people who
might have them for you either haven't seen your posts, or have been too
busy.  I'm pretty sure most of us have asked questions on the mailing list
that didn't get answers (I had one just last week or so).  Three in three
weeks is kind of a run of bad luck, but not necessarily an indication that
your posts aren't getting through.
