I installed a package using YAST and I was having problems with it. I decided to uninstall the package and re-install it. I tried to uninstall it using rpm and couldn't; rpm said the package wasn't installed. I ended up uninstalling the package from YAST. I then installed the package from the command line using rpm and everything worked fine. Are there options that YAST uses that could be affecting my package install? Is there something that the package should be sensitive to? Have I done something wrong? Any ideas?
