I've been working towards using samba as a print server for windows clients. Every 15 minutes I get this in my logs (nmbd.log and /var/log/messages)
nmbd/nmbd_browsesync.c:find_domain_master_name_query_fail(358) find_domain_master_name_query_fail: Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name MY_DOM<1b> for the workgroup MY_DOM. Unable to sync browse lists in this workgroup. MY_DOM is the name of the domain I have joined (security = domain). Is this likely to have something to do with broadcast not being supported? I'm using a wins server, have specified domain master = no because we have NT machines doing that. Any ideas? Also, as far as the interfaces command goes... is the ip address specified supposed to my that of the linux host or that of the gateway? I've been using that of the local linux host which seems to be working, but maybe that is the root of my problems? Thanks, Daniel
