Greetings;
Statements like this are made by people who are not taking into
account the seriousness of the "vulnerabilities." They are
comparing apples and oranges, or better yet apples and marshmallows.
It is like saying that having the rearview mirror fall off of your
car is as serious as losing a front wheel at 60 mph (96 kph). They
are both defects but obviously not of the same degree of threat.
Good Luck!

Valentine, too, took the opportunity to point out the widespread bugs that
have been discovered in competing operating products such as Linux and
Unix.
"Every operating system out there is about equal in the number of
vulnerabilities reported," he said. "We all suck."
I'd like to see the published, objective data, if any, that supports his
claim of "equal vulnerabilities". I'm extremely skeptical that, say, z/OS
is as vulnerable as Windows 2000, or has as many vulnerabilities reported.
Where's the data to substantiate this claim?
