Two issues.
1) It looks like you are using less than 50% of your single processor
IFL.  Thus there is enough cpu to double the amount of work.
but is there enough storage???

2) a better way to perform capacity planning would be to
profile the transactions.  For mail servers, use CPU per TCP Connect.
Then simple matter of arithmetic i think. Then track cpu
per connect, and connect rate over time. would be more useful.
