I'm trying to get Apache1.3 to work with Tomcat/JBoss on SLES 7 (on 390 of
course). Seems like I must be making things more difficult than necessary.
I've installed Apache from the SuSE RPMs and it's up and running. I've
downloaded and installed JBoss with the imbedded Tomcat4.1.12. JBoss will
start up, but not being a J2EE-smart guy, I'm simply presuming that it's
going to work ok. (Query to port 8080 doesn't look terribly promising
though.)

I want to be able to hook Apache to Tomcat for handling servlets/JSPs. My
understanding is that mod_jk or mod_jk2 is probably the best way to connect
the two, but I can't seem to find a binary for 390 of those anywhere. My
attempts to build them are failing with "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/xml/sax/SAXParseException" and I haven't been successful in getting ant
(or whatever needs it) to recognize the sax2r2.jar file.

If anybody has done this and can offer any pointers/suggestions, I'd
appreciate it! Surely the necessary binaries are out there someplace!
