I must say I'm a bit surprised at the amount of package rebuilding that goes
on round here, but I've not taken a lot of notice of what's being compiled
(though I do recall someone building gcc 3.x).

What are people building? Is there scope for someone to take it on for people
here? What are the vendors not providing?
