        Well it's called TRANS.TBL on an ISO-9660 CD, so, perhaps there's
        something to be gained by grabbing the parser for iso9660's
        VFS and, handling the EBCDIC-->ASCII translation (and back again)
        this could get interesting.

        Of course extending this so that it could "fake" multi-level
        directories in a CMS disk wouldn't hurt either.
