Hello!

One of our customers claims that some guy at the local IBM office told
him that he would get additional security benefits if he routed packets
through the TCPIP machine, instead of connecting the virtual Linux
machine directly to the OSA channel. Unfortunately, the IBM guy didn't
said anything specific, so I'm unable to convince the client that
there's no advantage in doing so, and he will even get some overhead
for free.

Can someone please point me some documentation explaining why using the
OSA channel directly is better, or even showing some reason to belive
the mysterious IBM guy?

Thank you very much!
