Well, who am I not to trust a salesperson's words... ;-) As Sergey mentions, they do have maintenance to give you beyond that level. From what I recall the beta does not have the proper OCO network modules in the starter system to work with VM Guest LAN, so in that case you want to make sure to start with the images from the patch CD (or the stuff you can download from their maintenance web site).
