I'm installing the SUSE LINUX/390 on our VM/ESA 2.4 system. On attempting to run the "yast" installation command I received error opening terminal 3278-...when telnetting from my VM to the LINUX login. When I telnet from another source the session "hangs" after I enter the login name.
I changed the terminal type to VT100 for my VM telnet session and I manage to proceed a bit further. I can run the "yast" command but receive most of the following instructions in non-understandable characters. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks. Anthony Waller.
